Theos is a long time fixture in Pinehurst. Decor is very pleasant with a wonderful garden area for lunch or summer evenings. Food tends to be excellent, particularly Greek or fish dishes. Concerns in some reviews over discount policies seem to be somebody trying to take advantage rather than be treated fairly. Owner is not a happy, smiley guy but runs restaurant well and is certainly honest. His wife is handling the customers for the most part and is delightful and service oriented. The best restaurant in Pinehurst outside of the Resorts Holly inn 1895. Far superior to the Darling House next door.

After enjoying dinner inside, we went back the next day to have lunch on the outdoor terrace. The menu is mediterranean with a Greek flavor, kept rather authentic by its owner. My spouse had the bouillabaisse, which had a safran flavor not usual in the French version. I enjoyed a vegetable linguine dish that was quite tasteful. Service was friendly, supervised by the owner and wife.

Lunch outside was a real treat, a quiet place away from the street with quite impressive landscape and flower decor. Tricolore tortellini for my and a Greek salad for my spouse, while simple was exactly what we needed.

This is not the finest "nouvelle cuisine" but if you like tasty Southern European food in a matching ambiance, this is your place in this Golf Resort town, a recommended alternative to Pubs and club restaurants.

A family wedding bought us together. Catching up with those you haven't seen in many years was made even sweeter by the hospitality of the staff. We dined on the patio to enjoy a varied repast by our table of 8. From sea bass to filet and ribeye. A wonderful evening, great food and a fine waitstaff helped make my memory even more special. Thanks Theo's!

Food was good, not great, service was great, Owner was RUDE...he refused us a table in a corner stating it was reserved yet over the 2 hours we were there NO ONE ever sat there....that snide uncalled for attitude WILL prevent us from ever going back.
