Don't let the exterior fool you. It's a cinder block old building, but the food is just down home good, straight up good breakfast. Blueberries in the pancakes taste fresh picked, and the value can't be beat. Tucked out of the way only slightly. It is really worth the trip when the buggies are practicing or there is a Horse event. Love this little place.

For a basic breakfast without any frills, this is the place. Eggs, grits, toast, ham, bacon, sausage. They've got it all cooked to order. People watching is also great there.

When my friend from Pinehurst invited me to the track for breakfast, I was unsure of her choice. The outside is not very restaurant like, nor is the entry, which is right into the seating area of the restaurant! However, the charm is in the unassuming nature of the place. You will return for the blueberry pancakes. They have specials each day too. Portions are large. Service has always been good, as are prices. The small restaurant is usually packed. Be sure to check the website for their hours, and you may want to call ahead to be sure they are open, as it is the south and they may have "gone fishin' ". I believe they are closed part of the summer. Don't miss the memorabilia and pictures on the walls. There is a back dining area that is fun to eat in! Customers and waiters/waitresses are friendly. Don't miss this.

This place is just a very, very simple little cinder-block restaurant there at the horse tracks and fair barn in Pinehurst. They serve breakfast and lunch only. I bet this little place can't sit more than 40 people or so. Anyway, don't go in expecting much ... except good, cheap, quick food!

The track resturant is a great little place next to the practice race track. If you are lucky you can see some of the trotters practicing. The place was jammed and I guess that is due to this place being part of different golf packages. The place isn't anything a decorator would like but the food is great and a great price. The service is Los quite good, quick meals and a nic smile.
