Ocracoke Island, North Carolina was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. We picked this place literally right off the map. After making several calls to local business's and researching on trip advisor, we were led to The Cove Bed and Breakfast. It was absolutely perfect. From the accomodations to the wonderful inn keepers, Erin and Chad, this is by far the best place to have stayed. The inn is located in a small residential area just blocks away from the village and boardering the nature preserve. The room (Portsmouth suite) was large, very clean and spectular views of Pamlico bay from the balcony as well as lying in bed. The Ocracoke Lighthouse can been seen while relaxing in the jacuzzi tub. Each morning breakfast was served on the quaint screened in porch. The breakfasts were outstanding!! So delicious. Each evening wine, cheese and crackers were served. Erin and Chad were available for lighthearted conversations in the morning and throughout the day. They recommended places to eat and things to do as well as provide background information to the islands history. Bikes were provided free of charge to use to get around the island. We rented a golf cart and it was not a problem charging it. Everything was amazing! We cannot wait to plan our next trip to Ocracoke and certainly we will be staying at The Cove B&B.
