Not our type of food. It says kid friendly but it was strange how they put us all the way in the back since we had kids, but at least we had a whole room to ourselves. The food was not very good. One person in our party got sick shortly after leaving.

Thanks for letting us know you had a less than positive experience at Dajio. We pride ourselves on giving everyone the best experience possible. We relish constructive criticism, but your review doesn't give us much to work with. We define Kid Friendly as accepting children as we would any other guest and provide options they might enjoy. We never make distinctions on seating based on any criteria other than the size of the party. Our dining room is small and feel no particular area is better or worse than another. Obviously no one can be all things to all people, but what do you mean when you say it wasn't your kind of food? Undercooked, over seasoned, too much, not enough, too fancy or not fancy enough? Wish you would tell us what you mean. Finally, when you say someone got sick right after you left, are you saying we are the cause? Gestation periods for food poisoning are a minimum of six hours. Maybe a food allergy, but we were not informed. To a small business owner, reckless comments like that could put us and our employees.in real jeapordy. I hope you understand that next time you post a review. Thanks

Go between 3 - 5pm for Shrimp Hour (2 hours) and enjoy cut price shrimp but definitely not cut-flavor. These are peel and eat shrimp (which unfortunately were missing their heads but were none-the-less very good). Cold beer, great service and a friendly atmosphere.

If you want to hang out with the locals this is the place for you. Check out the boards out front for specials. Enjoy drinks out back with friends listening to a cool band. Service was good and drinks were cold.

The shady table at Dajio provided a delightful spot to linger over lunch. I enjoyed a very fresh local fish sandwich and tried hard to resist the crisp, fresh-from-the-fryer homemade potato chips. The cole slaw was unique, not a mayonnaise sodden mess, but rather a crunchy combination of cabbage with some bits of seaweed. Even the tartar sauce was special!
