“Pretty Darn Good”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

We ate here twice and the only reason I did not rate it five stars was my meal the first night was only so so. However, my two friends' meals were excellent as well as the appetizers. On the next day two of us ate lunch there and our salads were delicious. The portions are generous, the staff friendly and the service good. I strongly recommend eating here.

“Fabulous meal and evening of fun-all in one place.”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Dajio has a wonderful menu of interesting choices for all tastes. Try the macaroni and cheese with crab dinner. Very rich, but full of of crab. Fish of the day that evening (bluefish) was perfectly prepared with a light batter. Nice selection of wines by the glass and bottle.
After dinner head right next door to the indoor/outdoor bar where most nights you can enjoy live music. Lot's of friendly locals in a fun atmosphere.
Dajio also serves lunch and an afternoon shrimp special on the patio.

“Creative, Fresh Food in a Lovely Setting”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at Dajio's. The hostess and waitress were very friendly and helpful. Food was fresh and the fish was fresh-caught. We ate in the brick patio in front of the restaurant--landscaping gave it privacy and a quiet setting. Highly recommended. Locals were eating there and that's always a good sign.

“A good lunch”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

We had lunch here during our vacation.
Food: We chose to eat here because of their menu which has very innovative. We asked if the clams were fresh and were assured that they were caught that day so we ordered the grilled clams. They were essentially inedible, soft, mushy and smelled bad. We left the whole plate, and our server never asked us if there was anything wrong! The rest of lunch was excellent- the quinoa salad, the red chili pork Cemita and the key lime pie was fabulous.
Ambiance: The restaurant has a nice feel, though the tables are very crowded in. There were a lot of families with small kids so the restaurant was a bit noisy. The restaurant was divided into smaller rooms that make the atmosphere quite cozy.
Service: The service was average. They were simultaneously looking after 2 other large parties so the staff was quite busy.
Overall, We liked almost everything except for the clam episode.
