We stayed here over Memorial Day Weekend for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The location was great, two blocks away from the beach but right in the canal. They provided us kayaks and bikes and chairs and umbrellas .... we did not need a thing. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and we cooked in every meal. The sunset in the top deck was magnificent. A great time was had by all.
My husband and I stayed at 1 Wilmington Street, Ocean Isle Beach NC for five nights in September 2016. We traveled with three adult family members. We enjoyed the large master suite and bath to enjoy down time during the evenings. We rode our bikes in the morning and evening. Lots of level streets for exploring. I rode a total of 38 miles. The beach is a short walk with sufficient public beach access. The house offers several beach chairs, an umbrella, sand buckets and gadgets, 20+ boogie boards, almost anything you can imagine. We also used the kayaks and life jackets. We loved the multiple decks and moved around with the shade. The house is clean with a well stocked kitchen. Sharon and Tom were great to communicate with by email and called to check on us at the beginning of our stay. Great southern hospitality. We ordered delivery from Causeway Café every night (yum, wish I could get this at home). We are looking forward to returning next year.
