Interesting little place. As I pushed open the door was not expecting what was inside – interior décor like a trendy bistro that would not have looked out of place in Southern California ! The menu was chalked up on boards and you then ordered and paid at the counter, name called out when items were ready and which you then collected together with silverware. Nice layout of tables quite widely spaced out and, at each end, large sofa areas for sitting chatting or catching up on emails; along one wall there were artsy items on display and for sale and one corner had book shelves full of books for reading. I had ½ vegie quiche, ½ Harvest salad. Lovely light homemade quiche and the salad was greens, scallions, pecans, blue cheese and thinly sliced green apple – most delicious; best quiche I have had in a very long time.
