We stoppd here for a late lunch on a weekday and were certainly glad we did.
The place itself is in the NC History Center right on the Trent river and a wall of glass gives you a very nice view of the tranquil harbor of New Bern.
The wait staff was quick to serve us and offered suggestions when we could not choose from a limited but eclectic menu. The food was served quickly nd then the waiter left us alone, not rushed, checked back occasionally and overall took very good care of us.
We were made to feel very welcome and at home.
We would tell anyone visiting New Bern to stop for lunch or just a snack.
