Not being from NC, I am a little confused by Sailaway and others that feel this restaurant was not worth the price. We split the wedge salad; no charge for the split. We shared an excellent homemade strawberry yellow cake dessert, $5. The night we were there, they had tilefish as the special, which was cooked perfect, and, while I am not a huge fan, it was tasty. It came with collard greens, and, again, not being from the south, all I can say, it's an acquired taste. The waiter was great, and, while the wine list is abbreviated, there is something for everyone. I truly question whether there is a better place to dine in this relatively small town.

I have been there twice and it's been less than stellar to put it nicely. Brunch was horrible, dinner was over priced and boring. There are many more places to eat that are MUCH better.

Menu not extensive but adequate for our lunch visit. Portion sizes were smaller than expected. Waitress was more interested in looking out the window and chatting with other staff than being attentive to dining guests.

We heard great things about this restaurant, so we assume we just hit it on a bad/busy day. Menu limited and nothing special. Food below average, nothing to say about the wait staff. 1 waitress did try to help customers. Overall, was not a good experience. Others in our group had been there before and said it was fun before.

Face it, most of us go to dinner to be pampered or we are too lazy to cook. 247 usually pleases both of these needs. Dinners are always a pleasure, lunches have becoming a bit blase. The wait staff is attentive and I would recommend 247 for the Sunday brunch, lunch or dinner. I am hoping that sooner than later the owner will upgrade the seats They are definitely 30 minute seats = eat quick or you will be uncomfortable and ladies be careful is you leave your purse on the chair back. If you stand up the chair will fall backwards and you will land on your rump....I have seen it happen to many patron.
