Description: Located at milepost 13 in Nags Head across from Jockey's Ridge State Park, we have unbelievable views from our second floor deck of the Atlantic Ocean and the historic Nags Head cottages. As a matter of fact, we don't believe that you can truly unwind until you've ordered an Orange Crush on the deck at Mulligan's! Take a look at our menu or daily specials page on our website to see what local seafood we are getting in today and know that we strive to buy as much of our products as locally as possible-local seafood, local produce, and locally butchered meats. We strive to bring only the freshest local food to your table, from hand-cut beach fries to oysters straight from the Pamlico Sound. We give a whole new meaning to Southern Coastal cuisine. We are also dog friendly! Come and enjoy our outdoor covered patio with your fur friend from 11am-5pm. So come hang out where the locals are... At Mulligan's Raw Bar & Grille!

The food is always great and the staff friendly. Nice to know when traveling late they are open for dinner at 9pm on a Thurs in Oct. the only place I know of that sells cherrystone clams that we love!

This used to be one of our favorite places, but is now a place we will avoid. 9 bucks for frozen wings similar to the bagged ones at your local grocery store is ridiculous. Overcooked burger, cooks ignoring what the waitress writes down, grease soaked fries, microwave reheated mac and cheese, hushpuppies that could be used for slingshot ammo, etc. The list is neverending. Please go back to your old food. So disappointing.

We were going to go to the Blue Moon Beach Grill, but were discouraged by the hour plus wait. The hostess suggested Mulligans, which we really liked! We went with our kids, ages 9 and 13. Service was great. We were seated and served quickly. The food was very good. I ordered the shrimp and grits which was delicious. There were large portions, so be careful not to over-order. My husband and sons were getting kind of rowdy towards the end of dinner. We were sitting outside on the deck. He was teaching them self-defense death grips, or something. No one even seemed to notice. It was a lot of fun. And, we had left-overs.

Mulligan's is a great local pub, with a bar that wraps around a TV where locals and visitors watch the big game (Redskins fans are most welcome here!) They have won Best Burger on the Beach for a reason: made to order, 1/2 pound, and delicious; wanna be decadent, add CRAB to your burger! Oh, and don't want beef, get chicken instead (a fave of my brother-in-law). Spacious decks wrap the second floor, making for a delightful evening in the early fall.
