For the third time this year, we enjoyed another great dinner at this Outer Banks restaurant favored by both locals and tourists. If you are an early bird, you enjoy a 10 or 20% discount depending on the season. Anyone can order from the lighter menu that is a selection of their most popular entrees supposedly in smaller portions (about a dozen shrimp, 10 scallops) and their regular dinner salad, side and hot bread...a really great deal. The regular menu includes numerous nightly specials that vary based on the local catches of the day. Non seafood items are available and are tempting but seafood here is the reason we come. The staff is professional and very accommodating. The owners are always there to greet you and to ensure your enjoyment. You will most likely have a short wait during the summer months but enjoy the waterside seating...you won't regret the wait. Closes during in late fall until spring so you may want to call ahead. (No reservations).
