Description: Grits Grill is a decidedly southern place to have a great breakfast or lunch year round. It's open till 2 pm daily. Most of the cooking is done right behind the diner style front counter. Eggs any style, chipped beef, omelettes, hotcakes and of course grits (cooked just about any style) are breakfast specialties and served anytime. Lunch is full of specials, deli offerings and big, juicy burgers. Owned locally. Staff is well known for being warm and friendly. Come have breakfast with us anytime!

This place is a little hide away with great food & friendly service. I got the Friday special and was surprised at the portion of food. You will not leave hungry :-). Will come back again. Good place to enjoy a good cup of coffee, food & friends. Love the old restaurant feel/atmosphere.

Delicious breakfast at this location on 8/2/13. A sampling of what we had: cheese grits; country ham the size of half the plate; huge, succulent biscuits; Belgian waffles; hash browns, and more. I wish we'd found this place before the last day of our trip. Friendly, fast service. You can't go wrong eating here.

We went here when we found out it was a sister restaurant to the dunes that is closed due to a fire. Since we used to love the dunes for breakfast i should have known it would be good! Big portions at fair prices, it is a loud diner styled environment inside but i would go back!! I do hope the dunes re-opens still though!

This place is a noisy, boisterous, fun Diner. My adult children went for dinner and came back with glowing reports of great food, so my wife and I went for breakfast on Saturday(get-away-day at the beach). The place was packed and there was a line(not uncommon for the good places in OBX). We were asked if we minded sitting at the counter and we said no, that moved us up on the list. The food was great and it was fun watching the cooks move through the long list of orders. They are amazing. So all-in-all a 4.6 rounded up to 5.
