“Loved the pirate deck setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2013

This was our first visit to Pamlico Jack's. We really went just to hear the local band Low Pressure (great band BTW), but we were also treated to a view of a beautiful sunset. We just had drinks and bar food (steamed shrimp and a barbque sandwich) which was quite ordinary but cooked OK, and since we didn't go for the food, we thought it was fine.

If you are looking for a nice music venue with the possibility of a beautiful sunset, this is the place. Even if you aren't treated to a sunset, the marsh setting is very tranquil and pretty and the pirate ship deck is interesting.

Service was pretty poor, but since we were there to listen to the band, we were glad it was so slow as it allowed us to leisurely nosh our way through 2 of their sets.

“Among the best so far....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2013

I had the crab cakes, glazed carrots and green beans for the entree and we had the crab dip for an appetizer. The restaurant was most pleasant to our 4 children and the meal was fantastic. One of the best meals so far. Lobster Mac and cheese was top notch.

“Couldn't ask for more!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2013

Great food, service and atmosphere, all rolled into one! We had such a great time on Thursday evening inside, we decided to go back for another perspective. We decided on outside dining with cocktails, another great choice! Our server was wonderful and several managers stopped by our table to ask if we needed anything. Water was promptly served while we checked out the menu, (without asking I might add), followed by great cocktails. If you like oysters, then the Oyster Sampler is a must. We watched the various meals being served and they all looked plentiful and beautifully displayed. Happy Hour starts at 4, but don't get there too early or you might miss the beautiful sunset. Enjoy~
