“Maybe it is better at a different time”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

We dropped in ~900pm on a Friday to grab some dinner. We were seated immediately in the main dining rooom. The atmosphere others had mentioned in other posts was definitely missing as there was only one other party in the room. Maybe everyone was at the lounge or on the deck. The staff was very pleasant and was helpful with suggestions. The beer and wine options were average. The mahi with pineapple was very tasty but the rest of our food was good but not great. I would be willing to give it another try but would probably try a few other places before coming back

“Fabulous crabcakes!”
Reviewed September 13, 2013

The food was great. Crab cake appetizer was awesome. Quite enjoyed the shrimp and grits, and my husband loved his Mahi-Mahi. Lovely sunset view inside the restaurant. Would definitely recommend!

“Awesome Service and Great Atmosphere!”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

4 of us were in Nags Head for a week and visited Pamlico Jack's on Thursday night. We arrived early and sat on the deck. Awesome view! Steve, our server, was very attentive and helped make our evening very enjoyable. We started with drinks - the OBX Hurricane was GREAT...one of us had two!! We went on to try many of the special drinks;-) As stated above, the crab dip was just OK. However, everyone LOVED their main course. We had crab legs, steamed shrimp, a shrimp dinner, and the Mahi Oscar. A few more drinks, and Key Lime pie and a Peach Cobbler for desert. There was live music on the deck with Donald Lee Burns singing and playing guitar. Our server Steve was great fun and Garrett saw us taking pictures and offered to take one of all us. All and all a GREAT dinner and a GREAT night!!!

“Wanted it to be better”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

We had a group of 9 and were outside. The sunset was great. The tables are very small so we were so spread out that we couldn't hear each other. We decided to just do apps and drinks. The crab dip was ok but average. No major complaints but nothing to rave about either.......just average. I'm a frequent visitor to the OBX and love places on the sound. I really wanted to like it but it was just ok.

“Great service”
Reviewed September 6, 2013 via mobile

We enjoyed our evening and the attention we received from the Waite staff. We liked the offerings but not the best in the Banks only above average. The restaurant had a wonderful sunset view and we took advantage of this comfortable setting.
