“Ok but not great”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2013

Food was ok. Service was fast. Very busy day in October. Disappointed that even going there late in the morning there were no table available on the porch, so unfortunately did not get to enjoy the view. A little slow refilling coffee. Overall, not bad but not sure I would go back. My feelings would not be hurt either way!

“Great view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2013

This is a small casual little restaurant/bar on the pier. Very nice to hear and see the waves and watch people fishing while dining. You can also eat outside on the pier if you like to catch the ocean breeze while having a beer with friends. It's not fancy, no need to get dressed up. Shorts and flip flops are fine there. You can have a nice stroll on the beach or pier after dinner or lunch. The food and drinks are good and the prices are ok, but it's the relaxed atmosphere that really makes it the place to be. There's also a little gift shop and a few arcade games to entertain the kids. You can rent fishing poles right there and spend the day fishing if you wanted. If you're in the area you should definitely check this place out.

“Kitschy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2013

Crowded on a weekday night. Attached to a fishing pier that might cost something to walk on it if one did not get a free walk from the dinner. The restaurant was small and cramped. The large staff was helpful and quick. The oysters and the salad were good. The walls covered with memorabilia about rescue swimmers on the outer banks. Kitschy and fun.

“DON'T waste your money on the view when the food is horrible and greasy.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2013

2 Greasy filler full "crab cake" sandwiches: $24

2 disgusting, undrinkable drinks: $24

Getting the hell out of there: Priceless

For all of your hard earned money, there's many other places that are better. Eat smart, eat elsewhere.

“Great atmosphere!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2013

It certainly wasn't the best restaurant we've eaten at, but the view of the ocean more than made up for the meal. A bit pricey for the amount of food, we enjoyed good service and food. After eating we were even allowed to take a stroll on the pier at no cost to us!
