A friend recommended that we try this place and his recommendation was spot on. It was busy when we went in; the only room left was at the bar. The service was friendly and fast, and the crowd at the bar next to us was a group of locals celebrating a birthday party -- also very festive and friendly. And the food! I had a fish taco with black beans made with amazing jerk seasoning, and my son had the steak sandwich with the homemade cheese sauce. Both incredible. I would recommend this to anyone traveling in the area.

This is a local restaurant that is worth the wait. The menu has something for everyone . The food was fresh, hot and the service was great. The fish taco's and shrimp and grits were very good. I will go back every time I'm in the area. Also it's a great place to go with family of all ages.

This restaurant is excellent and everyone knows it, so arrive early or prepare to wait. We tried to get a table at Blue Moon one evening last week (mid-April) but arrived around 7 and would have had a long wait. We returned another day around 5:30, thinking that was early enough in the off-season, but there were no tables. Luckily, we were able to sit at the bar and eat there, and we're so glad we did. We had their Oysters Rockefeller, which were loaded with cheese, sweet potato crab soup, mussels with blue cheese (a huge portion - at least three dozen mussels), and the mahi BLT. The mahi sandwich came with fries and the mussels came with two pieces of french bread with melted cheese (for sopping up the delicious broth) but we were so filled by our seafood that we had to leave these on our plates. Our server was outstanding, and they had a great selection of beers. By the time we left around 7, a large number of people were waiting for tables. If you are near this restaurant, go, but go early!

This restaurant will be moving to a larger location which will help with the fact that they attract such a crowd, perhaps the wait will be shorter in the summer hours. Personally one of my faves are their "Shrimp and Grits." They do not have the usual hot flavor as others but a nice mix of cheeses in the grits, an applewood bacon which give them a more mild flavor.
