I have eaten here during the tourist season and off season. It is always busy. The food is outstanding...I have had most of the appetizers, the bouillabaisse, the crab cakes, and recently the braised shatake mushroom plate...all outstanding. The beer selection is very diverse, the wines are outstanding. The bar tenders will let you sample and know what they have available. The crowd off season starts when the sun goes down. In the summer after 5:30 PM. You won't go wrong here with kids, large gatherings, or any of the food choices.

Good food...........not outstanding. Really don't understand why this place gets such good reviews, but I am particularly fussy especially regarding atmosphere. This restaurant is in a strip mall and I felt like I was eating in a diner. We had a very noisey table right next to the kitchen.
The total dining experience should include good food and atmosphere.

We were looking for a place with seafood where we could get a beer the first night of our trip. The restaurant is located in a little strip mall area. We arrived just in time as the place is small and we were seated quickly. Shortly after we got there the place became packed. It is a favorite of the locals evidently however it was just average at best. We both had seafood, nothing we couldn't have gotten at Long John Silvers, and it was pricey.

It was good food, no doubt, but the service was only average, it was very noisy, and way over priced.

The shrimp and the sauce make this dish. I would forego dinner just to have this appetizer. The service is amazing, busy but they still do not keep you waiting long once you are seated. I would recommend this as one of the best places on the beach
