Above and beyond for cleanliness and courtesy of staff. I traveled a great deal and this was an outstanding experience. If I were anywhere in the area I would go out of my way to stay with these wonderful folks.

The location is lovely. Next to another hotel and restaurants, but mountains are all around too. Staff was super friendly, all of them. Room was big, spotless, and very comfortable, with a nice big TV and tons of channels, including several HBOs. Outdoor pool and hot tub were great for relaxing after a long day. Tasty breakfast, and the lady running it was a sweetheart. From top to bottom, it was a quality stay.

Cannot wait until my next motorcycle trip and staying at this hotel. Normally we stay in the mountains, but not any more!!! What a great place to visit, the people are more than helpful, the food in the area was great, and the hotel is easy to find and has great motorcycle parking.

We spend about a month a year in Hilton properties mostly Hampton Inn's so we have a general idea what an average Hampton Inn should be like and this location falls under that mark. Reception was fine except no recognition of Hilton Honors status or any amenity but the room location request was granted. Room was clean but was not well furnished no bench at end of bed, more lighting needed, no microwave or mini fridge just very spartan. Wireless internet was available and did work well, ample free parking and good range of TV channels. Hotel is located across street from a Walmart which is handy if you forget something. Hotel is about a mile from Murphy down a back road where there is several good places to eat and a nice park and trail system to walk or jog on. Breakfast the next morning was mostly fix it yourself type foods with biscuits you heated in a microwave etc, even the fruit was pre packaged not fresh except for the bananas and apples. Bottom line is this hotel is OK but I have stayed in a lot better Hampton's for the same of lower price. Staff members I spoke with were very friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed the beds! Very comfortable There was a problem with our door locking- but we picked it up until we heard it latch and it locked fine- make sure you check your door -we closed it and could reopen it with one finger! The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean-enjoyed the complimentary breakfast!

This hotel has some serious issues with road noise. The first night I could not sleep due to the noise and a huge light outside the window. Also, the room was 2 queens and was very cramped. I had not stayed in one of these rooms before, usually get a king, so was surprised. I requested a new room on the second day and they found one in the center of the building, facing the Best Western, which was much quieter with no huge light. Once in the new room, everything else was good- the staff were nice & helpful, rooms fairly clean, decent bed. This was a King room, which was much more spacious. King rooms are same price as queens, so if you don't need 2 beds I highly recommend the king.

My wife and I took a trip north to see the mountains and rivers in spring time. There had been plenty of rain to make the rivers into rapids and the mountain trees beautifully green. We booked the Hampton Inn which located close to most everything in Murphy. Due to some computer glitch, I was able to book a room that was not available so we were upgraded to a suite for the night. My review is based on that room and may not be indicative of other rooms at the hotel. The suite is your standard Hampton Inn fare with nice beds, HD TV, upgraded bath with granite surfaces, and a walk in tub. The room smelled and looked to be new or very clean; either way it is a plus. This room had a wall unit AC that was controlled by a thermostat on the wall and kept the room icy cold. The shower door needed some minor adjustments to make it flow back and forth without any issues. The TV remote was for the Dish service and was complicated, or I am just too old. The remote would not turn on/off the TV or adjust the sound. We played with it for a while before going to the TV to manipulate the sound and again to turn it off. There was a wide selection of channels that made it easy to stay up watching TV.
The following morning we ventured down for coffee and found a wide assortment of prepared food, some packages that could be microwaved, a good variety of cereals, fruit and yogurts.
My wife enjoyed the coffee more than most places we stay.
The staff was helpful with places to eat, info about Murphy, and our requests about the room.
If you are in the Murphy area, the Hampton Inn would be your best bet for a good nights sleep.
