This hotel was average. It is the kind of hotel you stop over and stay for the night while you are on the road. It did not have any cell phone service but had wifi. The room was clean but did not have a refrigerator - something most Best Westerns have. Price was fair for what we received.

Thank you for staying with us, I am working on the refrigerator for all rooms but unfortunately I have no control over the cell service. This area has always been bad, the phone companies always tell us they are working on it, so that is is about it. We hope to see you again, just come to relax.

Very clean! Wendy was very helpful and even called our room to see if everything was okay. I would highly recommend.Across the street from a great, reasonable restaurant called the Copper Pot. Just outside of Mt. Airy, home of Andy Griffith, Mayberry!

This best western is the cleanest hotel we have ever seen including some very high end boutique hotels! I'd say it was new, but the floor layout is of a classic roadside motel. Decor and furnishings are up to date. Flat screen tv, iron, hair dryer, etc. Beds/linens are clean and comfortable! All of the staff and housekeeping are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Breakfast area is equally clean and basic but good. Yogurt, waffles, hot and cold cereals, fruit, juice, coffee, pastries, bagels, muffins, bread, and hard boiled eggs. If you require something more substantial a full service restaurant is next door serving what sounds to be a very good breakfast. It does have doors to the rooms that open to the parking lot. However, security is more than adequate and we felt safe. All in all...a VERY good choice!

This hotel is located right off I-77 next to a large truck stop which I thought may be a problem but we heard nothing in the room. They have a nice large pool separated from the rooms. The room was very comfortable on the ground floor, very neat and clean. Room does have a mini-fridge and microwave. Wifi is fast and easy to connect. Located close to Mt. Airy that was based on the Andy Griffith Show's Mayberry. If you eat in Mt Airy try Brenda's country kitchen. They had good country cooking and Brenda will wait on you!!

Room Tip: I would get a room on the side furthest from the truck stop, they are very busy at night.

Facilities are clean and comfortable. Staff went out of their way to be helpful in a difficult situation when my husband needed emergency surgery at the local hospital. We stay at this hotel every year on our way to the ocean. Highly recommend this hotel!
