“Bed and Breakfast”

Stayed here this week on the spur on the moment. I grew up in Mt. Airy and staying there was like being at home. The rooms are great, the breakfast was wonderful. I would highly recommend staying here.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are great.

We needed a to get away, but were not able to go too far. I've never been to Mount Airy and found Sobotta Manor B&B on line. Boy did we hit the jackpot! Everything was perfect from the room, the breakfast, to the hostess. We were able to get some much needed rest, enjoy the surroundings, and wonderful company. I love that Main Street is within walking distance. We can't wait to go back. Five stars are not enough.

Room Tip: we were able to look at all 5 rooms, they are all beautiful

Came to the area of visit the Mount Airy wine locations. Favorite part of the trip was this place. Rooms are exceptionally large and the beds are so comfortable. The hostess is truly caring and a wealth of local knowledge.

Bring a good appetite to breakfast. This is the first time I have ever had a 3 course breakfast and the quality rivals any 5 star restaurant I have ever been to.

The only downside is I wish we lived closer.

Perfect in all aspects, stayed here on a last minute decision. We hit the jack pot as we did no research before staying here. We literally pulled in front of this beautiful B&B and phoned in to see if a room was available. The owner had 2 rooms left and invited us right in to view the rooms. The inside is fabulous and we had the best king size bed we have ever slept in. The place is beautifully furnished and spotless. We were made to feel right at home and the breakfast was great. My only regret was that we only had one night to stay. If you have the chance don't miss this one! You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: Pick any room you won't be sorry. The owner is a great host!!

What a delightful experience to have the opportunity to stay at Sobatta Manor Bed and Breakfast. Spur of the moment decision after reading reviews online. Felt very fortunate that accommodations were available. Beautiful home, beautiful gardens, delicious and beautiful breakfast. I would definitely recommend this lovely bed and breakfast and would love to have the opportunity to return.

My husband and I stayed at the Sobotta Manor for two nights. The room we stayed in was exceptionally clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was a "sit down" shower which was a little unusual but it worked out just fine. The house is charming and comfortable. We enjoyed Saturday afternoon sitting outside in the garden listening to the professional blue grass musicians who were practicing next door. Robin was a gracious hostess full of insight and experience. Breakfast was wonderful! Robin was nice enough to make a substitute dish for me at the last minute. We also appreciated the range of coffee, teas, and soda available to the guests. We enjoyed walking to nearby Trio restaurant and Old North State Winery. Round Peak Vineyards is 8 miles down the road and a great place to check out. There is not a lot going on in Mount Airy so I would recommend it for a relaxing weekend away.
