Are you interested in going back in time when life was so much simpler? if yes, and you love nostalgia, please take your self to the Mt. Airy visitors center and get them to show you a map of the town and learn some fun facts about simpler living, and throw back Andy Griffiths original show. You'll find the helpful and friendly staff genuine and eager to help you thoroughly enjoy your stay! I did!

The staff went out of their way to help us. We were doing a genealogical search. They referred us to some very knowledgeable people in the area.

The visitor's center is really the place to start in this town. Here, from drippy sweet ladies, you can learn about attractions and history. Pick up any number of pamphlets and even a real estate guide just in case you want to move to Mayberry!
