We stopped into Miss Angel's and took pics and looked at all the lovely pies and cookies and cupcakes and goodies then went next door for an awesome cups of peach ice cream and hubby tried the moonshine peach ice cream! Very good! Boy working there was very nice and helpful. Let hubby sample the moonshine ice cream? Then when we left we was making boxes for the bakery as he had no customers at that time. 2 or 3 people came by when we was sitting there enjoying our treat! Love Miss Angel's shops downtown Mt Airy NC

Other then the 10 minutes I was ignored standing at the counter, can't complain at all about this place. Also when I was finally served the lady was friendly and things could not have gone better. Maybe it was just because it was a Monday but I just didn't get the service I was hoping for. The pies however were super yummy. I split a cherry pie with my son and brought home a peach pie. My wife said the peach was good as well. I'd like to sample more, and I bet if you knew a thing or two about this place things could have been better. I enjoyed my food but feel like I missed a chance a something truly special. Pies were also pretty pricy for such a inexpensive town.

One day in Mt. Airy and we were here twice. Husband was in heaven. She could charge double than she is. The brownies and the pies are great. Hot pretzels were good as well. We came back to Atlanta with about 5 items and wish we had bought more. Owner needs to consider moving to Atlanta!

I was looking for an afternoon treat to take back to our friends as we had just had some ice cream. There must have been more than a dozen kinds of brownies. I chose strawberry shortcake, extreme chocolate, pecan & a granola topped brownie. They were all generous size and delicious. I also had to have a small cherry crumb topped pie and a cream filled horn. Needless to say it wasn't eaten on the spot. The cherry pie was made with a sweet cherry. Not sure what kind but tasty. I was surprised by the low price for the quality of the goods I purchased. I am used to paying about a third more. What a welcome surprise. The gentleman behind the counter was a hoot and supplied us with a taste of a new brownie he had not yet tried. That taste was about a normal size brownie elsewhere. I'll go back next time I'm in the area.
