Always been a great place in Mt Airy! Give it a try and you will not be disappointed. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. And the food is delicious. We love their salsa, and the chicken nachos are an excellent choice! Once was Chile Verde, now Rojo. Been a staple in Mt Airy for many years now, the locals love this place

Stopped in here with family while passing through town. The restaurant itself is charming and the staff is very friendly. But the chips weren’t great and the margarita tasted like the mix without the alcohol. I’m guessing that’s why it was a special price for a Saturday. The carnitas and pollo fundido were tender and the portions large. But the rice tasted old (we were there at 1130 am) and the refried beans had a weird grey color. The cheese dip was amazing though, some of the best I’ve had. Overall not a bad place for a little town.

Let me begin by saying there is nothing wrong with this place. Its clean, the service staff is friendly, and the food came out on time. Other than that its the same quality of food you have had at a million other Mexican restaurants. The sauce is pretty bland with no heat, the chips were a little overdone and didn't taste fresh. The guac dip looked like it was out of a package and the margarita didn't taste like it had much tequila in it at all. Our food tasted fine, the whole meal and experience was fine. Don't expect this place to blow your mind but if you're in the mood for Mexican food it won't necessarily disappoint you.

We visited on a busy Fri night but service and food were delicious and very prompt. Started with chips and salsa , both yummy and just the right heat for us. One of the stars was the house made sangria hint of fruit but not too sweet, one of the best we've had. Entrees were a combo platter with chicken enchilada and tamale (ordered chicken but got beer, no problem as it was great) green sauce was a bit spicy but just right, The Texas fajita with shrimp, chicken and beef for one could have easily fed two. Meats were all well prepared and seasoned. Took the flan back to the hotel for later, and it was delish. Great meal
