I stayed at this hotel for two nights and had the chance to interact with the staff many times. All were friendly, warm, welcoming and caring. The shuttle service is especially convenient and easy to use. It was great. On the down side the room was nice, but a little tired. I wish the pool had a hot tub. One note, if you like planes, you will love this hotel, it is right under the flight path and close to the airport. I enjoyed watching to planes fly just above my window. If you don't like planes (or noise) ask for a quiet room. They have them!

Room Tip: Ask about the flight path and make your choice accordingly.

I stayed here for one night in May 2014. I have previously stayed here, always for one night, either when arriving on a later flight, or the night before an early flight. The location is super convenient for RDU access. I have used the shuttle in the past and always had satisfactory experiences. On this trip, I once again found the hotel to be consistent with other Hyatt Place hotels in terms of quality, cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, and the overall experience. The complimentary breakfast is very good and included a nice selection of hot foods (eggs, sausage, waffles), cereals, and breads, as well as juices, milk, coffee and tea. I did not use the complimentary wifi on this trip, but in the past I was pleased with the service. The room was clean, nice selection of television channels, and the bed was very comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Quick trip to Raleigh NC was enhanced having a safe, clean and friendly place to crash after busy days/evenings with family. Staff was exceptionally helpful and pleasant - especially in light of the fact that there was a regional baseball tournament and the Memorial Day weekend crowds to contend with.

This was the second time that I've stayed at the Hyatt Place Raleigh-Durham Airport Hotel prior to flying out the next morning. The hotel has a free shuttle but I drove to the terminal so don't know how good it is. The hotel advertises itself as being the closest one to the airport, but this is somewhat of a misnomer. There are two other hotels next to it, so yes it might be a couple of steps closer, but there are other choices just as close. Check in is easy and quick. The receptionist will provide all of the details of the hotel which are a little more than the normal hotel. The hotel offers food and drinks that you can purchase at anytime of the day or night. There is also a free hot breakfast in the morning.

My room was nice and large and included a king bed. The room is separated into a living room and the bedroom. The living room includes a wrap-around sofa, table and sink. It is an area where you can sit back and relax or take care of some business if necessary. There was a small decorative wall that separated the two areas (not a wall, just a divider). The television was located in the center between the two areas and you could swivel it as necessary.

The king bed was nice and soft. The pillows were soft, but they were at least comfortable. The closet was built into the wall that separated the two parts of the room, so while small, makes it a unique feature of the room itself. The bathroom sink was located in this section of the bathroom, with the toilet and bathtub located in its own room. The sink was nice and large, with a separate section that also include dresser drawers. The shower had plenty of water pressure and hot water. One improvement would be for the hotel to provide hand lotion as part of the amenities.

Breakfast in the morning included both hot and cold options. The morning I was there included egg and sausage biscuits, cheese omelets and sausage as the hot options. The omelets were good and what you would expect for a hotel breakfast. The cold selections where your standard options. The coffee was located on the bar across from the breakfast room. There were not that many tables but was not an issue during my stay find a place to sit down.

Overall the Hyatt Place is a comfortable hotel and one worth staying at if you are in need for a hotel close to the RDU airport. The hotel mentioned that you could expect noise from aircraft flying above, but I didn't notice any noise during the night.

I had stayed here before and it was great then and it is still great now, breath of fresh air to see some consistency. Rooms are comfy and nice bed...love my bed. There breakfast is one of the best out of all the hotel chains I have been to. The staff was very nice and friendly before and they still are nice and friendly folk. If you get a chance say Hi to Big Mike, He will help you with directions or just about anything else you need, wonderful friend to have in a strange city. I mentioned that this was the place to stay if using the RDU port. Well it is because it's a 5 minute drive to and from the terminals which give you some extra ZZZZZ's if ya got an early flight, or a quick hope into the shower and bed if your on the last flight in. Once again as I stated earlier the parking is kinda limited but if worst comes to worst you can park out on the dead end street, and walk in...still not too bad for the quality of the property. Yes , the planes do fly overhead...DUH it's right next to the airport, so if that's a problem then stay 5-10 miles away to avoid the planes and then enjoy the 20-30 minute ride (if your lucky) to RDU in heavy traffic. I will stay here anytime I'm using the airport. I like to see the planes:)

My first experience at a Hyatt Place and it was perfect. First, Barbara at the front desk is amazing--totally gets hospitality. She will take care of you--and make you feel totally at home. The rooms are extra large and great for working--free internet! Breakfast (included in rate) is really great. They have egg sandwiches, oatmeal, fresh fruit. Really good starbucks coffee. At night, there is a great bar (drinks not complimentary) and the bar area is lively and a great place to unwind. There is a steakhouse across the street that is well regarded but expensive. Go down the street to other more economical options if money is an issue. The airplane noise is not bothersome and seems to stop by 11pm. Actually it's somewhat relaxing. Airport shuttle is really fast and the driver actively looks for riders in the lobby/breakfast area to make sure no one gets left behind. All in all, this hotel offers value and service, great beds and really pleasant staff.
