My colleague and I stopped for the night in Morganton as part of our trip across NC. I knew it was a small town so wasn't expecting much choice in non-chain restaurants of a decent caliber. However, I was more than impressed by this little gem! A farm to table restaurant serving lots of unique dishes, this place is a must if you are ever in town. I had the heirloom tomato salad with goat cheese and bacon lardons as an appetizer and we both had the meatloaf as a main course, which is was out of this world with the blackberry bbq 'sauce' on the side. Everything was fantastic including the very friendly service and the extensive and diverse wine list!
