Description: Pomodoro's specializes in Italian American favorites and authentic Stone-Hearth pizza and baked goods. All pizzas are made by well trained “Pizziolas” (pizza chefs) using a guarded, signature sauce recipe with over 18 ingredients; then cooked in a true stone-hearth oven to bring out the nutty, toasty flavors in the special wheat flour the dough is made with. Sauces, dough, dressings, desserts and the like are all made in-house daily from the best ingredients available. Their signature Marinara sauce takes most of the day to prepare being made with 2 types of wine, onions, garlic and numerous spices & herbs, of which the exact recipe is a carefully guarded secret. Subtly sweet with well blended flavors it will remind you of the best Italian restaurants in the New York. Meatballs are made from scratch and and many guests say they rival those that their “Nonna” made years ago. The Marsala is sweet with wine and velvety smooth on the tongue with a generous swirl of fresh butter. Picattas are tangy and tart, with fresh squeezed lemons & white wine. Zuppa de Pesce is an overflowing bowl of garlicy tomato broth, brimming with assorted seafood over perfectly cooked al dente pasta. All the items on the menu share one thing in common, they are obviously made from scratch by cooks and Chefs that know their craft. But what’s a wonderful entrée without a delicious beverage? No worries, the fully stocked bar features all the classics as well as bartender created specialties. Craft beers, many locally brewed, are on tap with an ever changing selection. The wine list features over 50 wines, predominantly Italian all affordably priced. With all the selections it might be hard to choose, but don’t worry, they also offer tasting “flights” of both craft beers and wines!

We walked in and could tell it might be an upper scale restaurant and hoping it wouldn't price itself out of good taste but we were wrong. This meal was FANTASTIC! Fried calamari as an appetizer with a lighter than usual crusting with parmesian cheese in the batter along with some oregano and the calmari was tender, not tough like most places that over cook it. I got a red clam linguini that was probably the best I'd ever had in my life. Strong flavors of garlic, clams, great red sauce and a little wine in the sauce made it aromatic and flavorful. When I got to the bottom of the bowl, the chunks of clams that had fallen out of the shells were down there with their good friends, chunks of garlic! Oh yeah, we were so stuffed, we ended up getting some cannoli's heading out the door! Please, please, go eat here! You won't be disappointed!

Pomodoro's is a straightforward and convenient restaurant. It's located at the end of a large shopping center, & it offers plenty of ample parking. It appears that the interior is getting a bit tired & worn, & I think it could also be much cleaner.

We've been dinner & lunch customers several times. Pomodoro's offer a diverse, uncomplicated menu featuring the usual Italian selections, which, in most cases, makes ordering simply a breeze.

There's nothing remarkably special to note here, but what is prepared & served is done with skill & care. Just to name a few, I find it easy to recommend: either the Greek or Antipasto Salad; the Veal Parmigiana or the Veal Marsala. Of course, there's much more to try & enjoy.

The staff is polite & work hard to please even during busier moments, which can be often.... The dinning room is fairly open & quite large; there's also more casual seating in the area around their small bar.

Took my parents out for my dad's birthday. Shelli, our server, was a breath of fresh air - so friendly and a great sense of humor. Hard to find a place with good veal picatta and this is it! Also had traditional Lasagna and it was perfect. Best part, it all was reasonably priced and they do take reservations. No more waiting in line at those chains.
