Description: A wonderful locally owned traditional New York / Chicago Chophouse in a historic Circa 1888 two-story building in the center of downtown historic Mooresville. The menu is quite diverse offering Great 30 day aged certified USDA Choice corn-fed beef, fresh seafood, pastas, salads and other house specialties. We pour a generous 8oz glass of wine, a true 16oz pint of craft beer and an unbelievable 2oz premium pour in all of our mixed drinks. Stop by and experience why our service and food have earned us the name Epic Chophouse. Reservations are recommended but not required. Please use the complimentary Valet right in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is open 5 - 10 pm Monday - Thursday, 5 - 11 pm Friday and Saturday, and 5 - 9 pm on Sunday. Brunch is served from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm on Sunday. The bar is open 4 - 10 pm Sunday - Thursday and 4 pm - 12 am Friday and Saturday.

I go to Mooresville NC a few times a year for business. Was just there this past week. Epic Chophouse is a restaurant not to miss if you are in the area. I go every time I am there. Very good food, good service, good serving size, reasonable price. I only wish that you don't have to pay for the bread. It's about $4 for a basket.

Awesome place to celebrate anything your life has to offer. Food, service, ambience. Everything above par. Will definitely return. A bit pricey, but not considering all of the above.

Great food, seating, service (until the end). Our waiter took our gift certificate and then brought back a card with the announced balance (but not indicated thereon) and no way to leave a tip (we did not have sufficient cash on hand). We had to flag him down and take 10 more minutes to get a form on which to indicate our tip (usually 20% but less this time!). Also, my wife's "house Merlot" (which we had not checked beforehand) was $10.25 - rather steep for a house wine!
We were celebrating our 63rd anniversary (of first meeting), so left disappointed.

Had a beautiful birthday dinner for my wife and six other friends. Our table was booked for upstairs seating which was nice and quiet. We started with cocktails at the bar downstairs in a buzzing nice atmosphere. Food and service was good and reasonably priced. A place definitely worth visiting when you are in that neighbourhood.

This was another treat from a non large city establishment. The food and service was top notch. Thank you Michele for a wonder experience. The drink selection was immense. The salad and soup course complemented the entree with the wedge as a standout selection. Then came the filet and prime rib. Cooked to perfection as ordered and melting like butter in your mouth. The mashed potatoes were great but the potato cakes with mushrooms and onions were better. Then the key lime pie with the perfect tartness was the ending to the perfect meal. This is a must visit restaurant .
