Dinner at the bar is our usual favorite when we go here however I also noticed the low health score. We don't eat when below an A and 90 is "mighty close" especially for a place that is at this level. Love that NC posts them. Something told me that given past experience with the owner, he would address but still surprising that he allowed all those issues to occur.
We ordered a different wine as they switched our favorite Malbec. We ordered two Caesar salads. Dressing should compliment, not dominate a salad. Not good. We had barely eaten 1:4 of our salad, bread was just being served and our prime rib came out - literally felt like 5 min after ordering. Poor timing. So we shoved salads aside since we didn't like them much and usually that is our favorite and started on the dinner - prime rib was luke warm however the au jous was hot so it made it hot. Really liked the tenderness and quality although could use a bit more seasoning. Baked potato was just as good as always.
Overall we both felt like the place had slipped since our last visit - food and feel. Too bad as that was our place for a treat when in the area.
