“Best little cafe in Western North Carolina”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

A real find. If you're in the Asheville area, try to stop by. Great coffees and baked goods, plus yummy breakfasts and lunches. And the icing on the cake: live blues jams on Monday nights hosted by noted keyboardist Steve Davidowski, Bluegrass jams on Thursdays hosted by Bluegrass legend Bobby Hicks, and open mike nights on Wednesdays--with great home cooked dinners served those nights. If you're in the area, don't miss this place!

“Super coffee shop”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

Live entertainment on Thursday nights. Great breakfast and very good specialty coffee drinks. Some interesting art work on the walls as well. Open early and stays open late.

“Farm fresh food and strong delightful coffee (s)”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

Little slice of heaven in the middle of no-where ville ha ha. What a great place....I feel like I'm in little house on the prairie in Marshall....it's like going back in time. I love it. I order anything that is a special because it's something I will never make at home and it's good farm fresh food.

“Quintessential Small Town Funk & Friends”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

A great little place to hang out in Marshall North Carolina. THE place to see your friends and be seen in. Everyone knows everyone at Zuma's. If you are new in town, drop by and introduce yourself and you will have new friends right away. Being directly across the street from the court house you can catch the latest political gossip during the day. On Monday evenings you can catch the free live jazz music jam, and on Thursday nights come very early to get a seat for their now famous bluegrass jam led by multi-Grammy winning fiddler Bobby Hicks. Food is really good (menu changes) - egg dishes, sandwiches, wraps, muffins, a full blackboard of different coffee drinks, and of course their famous, delicious (and pricey $$) brownies and cookies. Owner Joel Friedman is very supportive of the community and his customers.
