i hate to hear that people are saying such bad things about this place. My husband and I have been there a lot of times and they were always great. We rode our bike everytime. Never had a problem. They even let us park the bike on under the awing and brought wet towels and bucket to wipe it down. You could not ask for better service. My daughter and her husband and son came and stayed they loved it. We will be back. Not to worry about one bad apple.

We have stayed at A Holiday Motel several times and have had a great experience each time. The owners are extremely friendly, the motel is very clean, and the food is excellent. We have motorcycles and a trailer and the owners have been generous with parking for both. It is a very family oriented motel. I would highly recommend this motel to everyone, bikers and non-bikers.

Sounds like Rob and Gabi are doing a great job running their business by keeping TROUBLE out of their hotel. GOOD JOB !!!!

We stayed for a week at this wonderful little hotel and felt just like part of the family. They are VERY BIKER FRIENDLY. In fact my husband and six of his friends will be staying there next week and they all have bikes.

If you read all of the reviews and find only one dissatisfied listing you know there is a problem with the person writing the review not the business.

We came to Maggie Valley in May with a group of Triumph Enthusiasts and had a GREAT TIME!! These folks went above and beyond to make our outing a memorable one. My wife works in the Hotel/Condo industry in Destin Florida and she agrees, not many would go THAT far to make a group feel welcome. Since we were on bikes they even made runs to the store for us for items we couldnt carry back, made arrangements for BBQ, a tent for the group and even music for the event. We were so impressed the group has decided to return in September for another weekend. Thanks guys . . a great time.

Rooms arent that great and they service SUCKED !!! They expect you to pay for the local ride maps that everyone else provides free. You even have to pay for ice. Officially the WORST bed I have ever stayed in and we travel all the time. They give you 2 pillows that dont even amount to one. We were told before arrival to drink, eat and be merry. After doing this one night, the owner busted into our room and accused us of smoking dope in the room. A friend that stayed with us did smoke cigars outside, but we did NOT smoke in the room. Thay are hitting us up for a 100 dollar fee. We called to complain and the owner said, " you can fight this, but... Ive done this many times and won every time!" When he busted in mind you, both my husband and I were intoxicated. He said either " you can pay the 100 or I'll walk across the street and see my buddy the chief of police." What do you do????? we were drunk, and he knew it! Ok, so other complaints, like I said, family and friends of the owners were in rooms all around us, we didn't have rocking chairs all weekend, because they had moved them all to their room. Also, we couldnt even find a place to park our bike!!! These folks make a buisness out of this Im sure. Im not angry, its only 100 and Im gonna chalk it up to a learning experience, this is my first and last time with a mom and pop motel. If this scares even one biker off, then Im happy. I wish someone would have put a review like this up before I reserved here. Do yourself a favor and check out Comfort Inn's they always have amazing beds and free hot breakfast with every stay. If your looking for a cheap alternative in Maggie, several of our biker friends have stayed at the Applecover Inn and say it is biker friendly. They were full when we reserved. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place.

We are sorry that you didn’t enjoy your stay. We are also sorry that we had to charge you for the clean-up fee as it took quite a bit of work to remove the odor from that room. It is our strict policy of No Smoking in the rooms for the comfort of the next guests. We would recommend lodging with smoking rooms for those people who must smoke in their room. We care about everyone of our guests and it is our goal to make sure that everyone of our guests have the best hospitality experience while staying with us. We are sorry we were not the type of property you were looking for.
Thank you
Rob & Gabi
