My husband and I go to Maggie Valley at least once per year for vacation and our first stop is ALWAYS Butts on the Creek. They have the best barbeque in the area and great hamburgers too! They also have a large variety other things on the menue. Treat yourselves to a wonderful meal if you go to Maggie Valley NC. It will close at the end of october for the season though

“We Should of eaten some place else.”
Reviewed October 17, 2011

Not alot of great choices in the area, for our day trip over to see color of the trees, from Asheville. We decided on this place because we wanted a good beer. Looked at menu and table tents for choices, all your basic swill....Bud, Mich, Miller, So we decided on soda. Orderd up some rings and they were good. Then the let down. The two pulled pork plates, were nice portions, the bbq was over cooked roast not smoked ans dried out tuff pieces. Not good! The grease driped out of the hushpuppies. The baked beans were plain over sweet beans. The apples were tastless. The three sauce choices, none.. I tell you were good ones. Sweet, not my favorite, Mustard tasted like the Sweet, The Spicy.... Was Not just tasted like the other two. Then as we left we used the restroom up front, and saw the sign try new Micro Brews! Good ones from our local area but we had no clue that we had other, better choices.I say try your luck any place else.

“Easy Family Dining”
Reviewed September 20, 2011

Great little BBQ spot in Maggie Valley. Our party of 10 was seating in about 10 minutes and we all had something different from the menu. Everything was good and the service was friendly. We thought the prices were very reasonable for generous servings. The cobbler was great to take home for a late night snack.

“Good food over priced”
Reviewed August 22, 2011

For two our bill was 50 bucks plus extra hush puppies were 50cents A piece extra. Plus again a 10% gratuity on take out orders is an automatic add on. This is BBQ not Filet Mignon. Will not ever go back.
