“More than "pleasant "surprise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2013

It had been two years since we last visited Maggie Valley. What a great surprise for us to see a brand new Italian cuisine restaurant close to all the "action" along highway 19.
We made a mental note to try it as soon as possible. As often happens, we got distracted from out "note" and it was late in the week when we finally made our way into this delight, attractive and welcoming addition to "favorites list" of places to eat in Maggie Valley.
The service, the atmosphere, the quality, quantity and attractiveness of the meal we had was delightful in every way.
Not being wine drinkers the server quickly pointed out the specials and several items of the menu that might interest us. It's no samWe placed our order and quickly learned that "team work" was the order of the day and "standard operating procedure" at Frankie's . Every server players a part in making our first-and certainly not our last- visit a delight in every way.

“Busy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013

We made reservations and was seated within a reasonable amount of time. Very busy. I selected eggplant parm and the portion was enough to take home half! The service was good and the waitstaff did not hurry you through anything. Like I said it was very busy. Everyone in the party seemed happy with their meals.

“True Italian food in scenic North Carolina”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

We were driving around southern Tenn and northern NC. We stumbled onto Frankie's. What a find! Homemade pasta, phenomenomal tomato sauce and great pizza. We were a group of 6, ages 11 - 89 and everyone loved their food! I even asked for the recipe for the sauce.

We had a wonderful experience here. Great service, friendly staff, and excellent food! The calamari was amazing and the Rustica pizza was by far the best pizza we ever had!
