The room was clean with a very nice balcony view of a creek behind the hotel. Bigger than normal queen beds. The front desk was very nice and friendly. She went out of her way to make sure i had what i wanted.

We booked the Ramada Limited by phone the day before we were to leave for Maggie Valley. The clerk I spoke with "Cathy" was so helpful I couldn't wait to meet her. She's as fun and pleasant in person as she was on the phone. We were meeting our daughter and her family and new grandbaby there and she made sure we had rooms side by side. She and Ravi were so helpful! Advised us on restaurants and places to visit in the area. The rooms were newly remodeled and very clean. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return again.

This was a great place to stay. We got a room with two queen beds for only $109. The rooms are new and fresh. They offer a nice free breakfast as well. The clerk was very friendly and helpful, recommending some local restaurants.

This was our first time to Maggie Valley and we were very pleased with the area; as well as, this particular hotel. Having never stayed at a Ramada, we weren't sure what to expect, but WOW...were we ever pleased. The rooms were clean. We had a beautiful creekside room....what a view!!! The breakfast was good. I can't say enough about the staff. We have never been treated better by a hotel staff as we were here. Cathy and Ravi were both WONDERFUL!!! They suggested great places for us to eat, places for us to shop, and things for us to see and do while we were there. They treated us like family.

Paid about $50 for a night and it was worth it! Visit Maggie valley in the winter time and get some great deals, some shops still open - good for Christmas shopping or just to see the area. Close enough to WCU if you have a son/daughter in school. Room was fine, staff very friendly, hotel a little dated but clean. Free breakfast!! Make sure you ask for a room with a balcony overlooking the river.

My husband and I stayed here several years ago and enjoyed our stay. It wasn't anything fancy but it was clean and we had a creekside room. However, on this trip it wasn't pleasant. When we checked in the lady was smoking, and although she was outside she brought the smoke in with her. Our room smelled like a dirty nursing home so we left the door open all night. On the plus side the breakfast was very
good and they have one of those waffle makers. However, we will be finding somewhere else to stay when we go back to that area.

I've always stayed at Jonathan Creek Inn, but saved $40/night at the Ramada this trip so decided to try it. The room was clean, although the sofa was ripped and worn. Cathy at the desk was very helpful and nice.

Breakfast was a joke. Waffles, cereal, and still frozen bagels. They were out of orange juice, and the waffle mix wasn't very good. We ended up going out for breakfast.

Kids were allowed to run up and down the halls beginning at 7 am slamming doors and yelling, so it was pretty noisy.

I've learned my lesson and will be back at JCI on my next trip!
