“Maggie Valley Ramada stay”

The hotel is in a great location with restaurants and stores close. Ask for a room in the back near the creek. The sound of running water is very soothing and the view is great. The staff is very friendly and Cathy is the best. The rooms are clean and for the price I would say it is a good value. I would recommend this Ramada.

The room was clean & the staff took very good care of us. We needed extra towels & pillows, without question they were delivered. Very courteous front desk staff, southern hospitality doesn't get much better than this. Thank you!

We set up plans ahead of time to attend the Popcorn Sutton Festival and to my surprise when we arrived we were on the 2nd floor no balcony available just small window to open and see satellite dish and chimney. After checking with day clerk was informed no rooms available at that time maybe later that night or next day someone would cancel and we would be notified. According to her all rooms were booked. After going to our very depressing room I even thought about just paying whatever was due and maybe finding another place to stay. I went by the front desk and the afternoon lady, Cathy, was at her computer. I asked if anybody had cancelled and told her by story. After checking we were able to change rooms getting a creekside first floor which was totally awesome. Our stay there was great. The beds were super comfortable and staff nice to help out. Ask about a place to eat and Cathy mentioned that Hurley's had really good food. Boy was she right about that. It was very delicious and the staff and Steve the owner really made it worthwhile. After our 4 night stay here we came to really love and appreciate Cathy. She is a very hard worker in our eyes and is there to make a customer feel welcome. Not many Customer Service people like her left. We will definitely be coming back for our next stay.

Room Tip: Defnitely get creekside first floor. They do not have an elevator which is hard for some people if...

My wife and I stayed one night while taking my mother to Cherokee. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. The pool looked nice but we didn't partake. I have a bad back and a little overweight and was worried after finding the bed felt a little too hard. Not to worry because I slept like a baby and it actually felt good for my back.
This was our first stay in Maggie Valley but won't be our last. When we return we'll stay at the Ramada and eat at Hurley's. Can't wait!!

No elevator in hotel. Our room was on 2nd floor. Place is dirty and dated. We had to search for tv remote. Called down to office and they said look under bed! This must happen a lot. There was no ice bucket and sink has toothpaste cap stuck in it. And I have only been here 3 hours.

Room Tip: Stay in another hotel!
