We like stopping here because it's centrally located for our trips south. It is a nice clean hotel. They upgraded us to a suite. Appreciated that. Good breakfast that closed at 9:00 A.M.....a little early we think. Good service.

It took 3 rooms to get a working refrigerator, and breakfast was terrible. No bananas and oatmeal like soup. This hotel now calls itself a category 3 and charges 15,000 points per night, the same as a Springhills Suites. We are now in a much superior Fairfield Inn near Richmond at the customary 10,000 points per night

We have stayed at this Fairfield Inn a number of times over the last 4 years and have never had a problem. Breakfast is always on time at 6AM (we like to get an early start) and there is coffee all of the time as well as cookies! Rooms we have stayed in have always been clean and well maintained. For us this is slightly more than the half way point to our destination while traveling south. There is a Cracker Barrel restaurant right next door for a snack or dinner.

Room Tip: While we have not stayed in all of the rooms, we have never had an issue. There is a new building going up next door which is in what I beleive used to be a corn field. I suppose that there may be construction noise during the day BUT I do not know this first hand. (Jan 2013)

This is half way between New York and Miami, and a short distance from Fayetteville. The cost is less but ambiance and comfort level great. Like all Marriott properties, the welcome by the front desk people is warm and sincere. They let you know they are glad you are there and are happy to see you.

Rooms are clean, and well decorated, prices reasonable and breakfast is included.

Marriott properties are my first choice worldwide, this is a good example of why I have never regretted that decision.

Traveling from New Jersey to Florida, we usually stop overnight in Fayetteville NC. This Fall we decided to stay in Lumberton, NC. What a nice surprise. I read several reviews on Tripadvisor and chose a Fairfield Inn close to 95. The room was clean and pleasant. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The plus was that we walked out of our hotel and a restaurant was right next door.

Room Tip: All the rooms would appear to be acceptable. There are three floors. If you like ice do not ask for the second floor. Ice is on the first and third.
