I have come to expect a certain level of comfort and security at Hampton properties. This one did not deliver. It is an old motel that was purchased and renovated by Hampton, apparently. all rooms have outside entrances - and the proximity to I-95 means you have traffic noise all night. Save your $ and stay where the price you pay is consistent with the value you receive.

On behalf of Jay Patel and Wintergreen Hospitality, I wanted to let you know that I received your survey regarding your visit with us. I appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we're doing. We struggle each day to overcome the obstacles we face with having an older, original Hampton Inn such as having exterior rooms and having no elevator. However, we feel that what we CAN do is more important, and we strive to maintain a culture of pride and hospitality and the employees here at the hotel fully embrace this philosophy.

It's is reassuring to know that you did not express any bad experiences on the service/hospitality side, as we focus on the guest experience to help offset the noticeable physical challenges we face.

Located right off 95 near many restaurants. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Free morning breakfast and lobby very nice. Room was in good shape, but bathroom had that "sour" smell - the shower curtain needed replacing, the grout in the bathroom floor was dirty, and the bathroom floor was dirty.

We will look for a different hotel the next time we have to stop in the area.

Room Tip: Do not ask for the second floor unless you want to use stairs. No elevator at this facility.

Nice, clean and comfortable! That is what we have come to expect from Hampton Inns; this property was no exception. Brandon helped us at the door with a sweet smile and the true manners that are such a part of southern hospitality! He made us feel proud to be back in our home state again! (Nothing like being away to make you proud of what you're missing at home! )

Then the front desk staff greeted us with smiling faces and actually seemed to care that we were customers of theirs! It was a nice reception that made us feel at home. They asked if we needed any assistance for maps or dinner recommendations before we even asked! The staff was anxious to offer help however they could!

Yes, the property is an older one; but caring about your customers, being courteous and friendly and providing service with a smile goes a LONG way to keeping your customers happy. We will stay here again! A job very well done!

The hotel is in an excellent location. It is close to restaurants and the interstate. The room was fine, nothing special. The breakfast was sufficient and as advertised it was a step above the continental breakfast found in many hotels. We had requested a first floor room in advance which was not provided. As a stop-off point between NY and Florida is served its purpose.

Hampton Inns are very consistent and this one is no different. It's an older hotel, but it is spotless, well maintained and in very good condition. Features an easy off/easy on location right off I-95 and a friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room. Be aware there is no elevator to second floor. It didn't bother me but for someone less ambulatory it would be a problem.

Like most was looking for a stopover on 95. I was a bit nervous since it was an older Hampton Inn with rooms that face outside. The hotel was spotless and in excellent condition. Clearly it had been remodeled to meet Hampton standards and done so quite well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to accommodate our requests.

The only drawback is the A/C. I got very little sleep because of this. I assume it is a programming feature that keeps the fan from running. So what happens is that every 30 mins or so of dead silence, it roars to life. Runs for a few mins then kicks off. This is the only hotel I have seen that do not allow you to run the fan continually. It would be nice especially since the rooms all face out that the quite hum of the fan would drown out slamming car door, alarm chirps, etc.

My main purpose of staying in a hotel is to sleep. For this reason alone, I will not ever stay in this hotel again unless the programming can be changed.

We were on our way to Charleston SC from Spring Lake NJ. This Hampton Inn was at the perfect location. Easy ingress and egress from and to The I-95. Painless check in and out. A nice Outback Restaurant and carwash near by. Clean and comfy room. Make sure you call ahead especially, Handicapped travelers. The second floor doesn't have an elevator!
