Beautiful surrounding with lots of history and interesting info. We love hiking the trails and going down into the mineshaft. Definitely would recommend.

“Really great kid-friendly gold mine...”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

My kids love the Reed Gold Mine and it is *very* affordable. ($2.50/person when we went.) My kids loved the movie, panning for gold, and walking into the mine shaft. A much better experience than those fake mining for gem places.

“cool underground”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

This is a great summer jaunt with the kids. It is historically significant, cool and shady in the summer heat and sparks great conversations with the kids.
