Fresh veggie ravioli, elk, shrimp and grits...and that was just at MY table. Food is lovely, waitstaff attentive...a must do while you're at the vineyard!

Food was excellent - chicken salad on baby greens with blueberries and strawberries, comes with a muffin - I think it was some kind of apple struesel. Husband had 1/2 roast beef sandwich with 1/2 salad. Very fresh and tasty. Of course we shared a bit of Childress's Chardonnay. Wonderful view of the vineyard, great music outdoors. You can sit down on the lawn as well. Just a really great relaxing time. Waitress was great!

Just enjoyed a delicious meal in a beautiful locale. The rolling North Carolina hills reminded us of the wine region in California. Calm, serene, and lovely. The food was outstanding and the service excellent. We enjoyed our meal and a bottle of Chardonnay. The atmosphere was noisy when we first arrived, but as we tarried, folks left and it became quiet and pleasant. This was lovely way to spend a Friday afternoon on our way to Greensboro and our Regional Sweet Adelines competition. Perhaps it was the Chardonnay that helped us win a first place medal in our mid-size chorus range!

We planned a family lunch at the Bistro and were unimpressed with the experience. The acoustics of the restaurant make it hard to hear anything over the clatter of dishes and the mediocre live music on the green...it is energetic, but not in a good way. The food was hit or total miss. Mine was a total miss. Chicken salad shouldn't be as sweet as candy! Most people in our party thought their food was so-so or bad, but there were a couple that were pleased. Overall, we wouldn't recommend the Bistro, unless they can start to impress with their food! It's unfortunate, because the locations is nice.
