“Wonderful mountain retreat”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

I spent four days at the Cabins at Seven Foxes in Deer Lodge and it was wonderful. The cabin was comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. I will definitely be staying there again. The property managers think of everything. I fell in love with this place the minute we pulled up.

My husband and I spent two nights in the Fox Hole Cabin (used a Groupon) celebrating my birthday, and we can't wait to come back! The secluded location is great for a weekend getaway and it was a perfect, relaxing stay. For two people this cabin had plenty of space, and the decor was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, with a full set of pots/pans, silverware, Ziplocs/plastic wrap/foil and plenty of extras...I even saw some muffin tins in there! The only thing I would say about the kitchen: the microwave was a little dated (still worked just fine) and the coffee maker looked like it could use a good cleaning.

On the property there were some trails and attractions that seemed to be mainly geared toward kids and families, but there are plenty of opportunities to hike in the area within a 20 minute drive. We checked out Whiteside Mountain and Whitewater Falls one day, and that was more than enough walking for very infrequent hikers.

We'll definitely be back!

We booked "Squirels nest" and must say was fairly impressed. The cabin was very clean. The cabin had everything thing that we needed and some, kitchen was fully stocked. If you can add WiFi that would be awesome, since cell signal is not that great there, would not take much work to do it.

My family of 4 and I truly enjoyed our sweet stay at seven foxes. We stayed in the raccoon loft which was awesome! The kids loved the loft. I loved that everything was just right. The cabin was adorable and was located near a fantastic treehouse house the kids loved to explore... And across from swings they sat on every morning after breakfast and evening before dinner.... We took a fun little hike through the property and discovers tons of hidden treasures too. We weren't too far from waterfalls to explore during the day as well. There was also a great little place down the road that provided lazy river tubing. Overall I would definetely come back again! This place is great for families!

We visited The Cabins at Seven Foxes again this summer during the month of July and stayed in the Raccoon Loft cabin. The area had lots of rain this summer and therefore the waterfalls were spectacular. We also took in a concert at the Biltmore Estate.

We have visited Seven Foxes at least once a year for many years and always enjoy our stay regardless of the cabin we are in. The managers, Bill and Linda keep everything clean and ready to enjoy and will do whatever is requested to make your visit a happy one.

There's lots to do in the area: fishing, hiking, whitewater rafting, etc. so there is never a lack of adventure. Or you can just enjoy the peace and quiet at the cabins.

We are looking forward to visiting again next year.

I almost don't want to write a review because I don't want anyone finding out about this place!! Ha! This is our 4th stay and we've thoroughly enjoyed our time. No one bothers you....it's extremely quiet....very clean....and so peaceful you can't even imagine :-) Our girls enjoy the short hikes and simply meandering the property. I enjoy how relaxing the entire atmosphere is and how everything is so private and no one bothers us. This is a great get-a-way for those looking for peace and quiet either for a long or short weekend. Great for couples too! It's a nice get away from the daily grind and the monotony of daily schedules.

Room Tip: Deer cabin is awesome! Our favorite. Super private.

This is perhaps our 4th or 5th visit to Seven Foxes. Linda and Bill have done a magnificent job of ensuring a consistently delightful stay. The cabins are equiped with everything we need for a comfortable stay (from the kitchen to the movies and everything in between). The grounds are wonderfully quirky and our son loves the trails, the pond, the horseshoes, swings and "Foxy." It is a wonderful escape for us. Our first stay was for 2 nights, but we now insist on at least 3 (and sometimes 4) nights. We love the proximity to Brevard (which is really kid friendly). Simply: this is a gem.
