It is easy to see that the volunteers love their community and their flowers. Although the guys didn't really enjoy walking amoung the flowers, we girls thought it was a fantastic way to kill an hour.

The entire project is done by volunteers and my hat is off to each and every one of them. The admission is free, although donations are appreciated.

The Flowering Bridge was so well thought out with like types of flowers, greenery, and herbs grouped together. What a wonderful way to restore the old bridge in town. We loved it. Just beautiful.

We stopped by the Flowering Garden on our trip from Lake Lure to Chimney Rock. This is definitely worth the stop as the flowers and ornaments are awesome. This is a free attraction and well maintained. I am sure this is a work in progress, so keep up the good work. We will stop here on every trip to Lake Lure!
