Description: The History of Huckleberry's Lake Lure In the early mornings of high school, you could find Michaila in the kitchen at Huckleberry's Lake Lure stirring up all kinds of "goodies." In April 2012, she began serving a full breakfast and lunch menu six days a week. By May 2013, Michaila had hired an Executive Chef, Jim Camillo, to join her in bringing you the restaurant's fine international cuisine. She also expanded to seven days a week in the Lake Lure Season. In December 2014, she opened another location in Tryon, NC, "Huckleberry's Tryon." The Tryon facility took off so fast and furious, that in May 2015, Chef Jim and Michaila closed their Lake Lure location and moved to Tryon full time.

Dear Fellow NC, Great to hear you will be returning for dinner. Remember to BYOB and to make your dinner reservations, we normally do sell out for most dinners.
Dinners are served Wed thru Saturday from 4:30pm to 8:30pm with nightly specials.
Thank you for the positive review and comments.

We found this place by being guests at Wyndham resort. We ate four meals here and they were all wonderful. We are from Pennsylvania but if this place were closer we would be their regular customers. Our waitress, Debbie, was a delight and made the visits even more enjoyable. If you ever get to the Lake Lure area of North Carolina, you have to find Huckleberry's on Buffalo Creek Road.

Dear our Sweet couples from PA where the Paint Can is along side Route 77, we are sad you had to leave us, but looking forward to our paths crossing again.
It was a pleasure to serve you all during your vacation, and we enjoyed seeing you all each day for breakfast.
Have a safe trip home.

Oh my goodness, I can't say enough about the service and the food. We had soup and grilled cheese sandwich. Soup was made fresh and so good my husband had two servings. Honestly, it was like having lunch in your Mama's house. Wish we had found this place earlier. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Lake Lure

Thank you for enjoying lunch with us, we have experianced some colder weather in Lake Lure this past week, and have really bumped up our soup offerings. I am pleased to hear you have enjoyed one of our homemade soups and a good old fashion grill cheese. Looking foward to your return visit.

Huckleberry's is a must try in the Lake Lure, NC area. This quaint farm house turned restaurant has an up scale menu that one would not expect but will be delighted by. We came in for lunch and was impressed by the menu offerings that featured fresh, seasonal items, most made that very morning. They offer a variety of sandwiches, wraps and a daily quiche, along with a variety of sides - some of which were just being prepared from vegetables grown from their garden. Bill's special sandwich was the hit of the table - turkey, apples and brie, along with the smoked turkey wrap. We were warmly greeted and the service was reasonable considering they informed us that they were short staffed that particular day. Do leave room for their daily baked goods. Most are sold out by 10am but we were informed that a freshly baked batch of brownies were just made ready to serve - warm and melt in your mouth good.

Hello-
Great to hear that you enjoyed your lunch. I am sorry to hear that a lot of our baked goods were sold out when you where hear. To be honest, the restaurant section of our establishment has taken off so greatly this summer, we have not been able to keep up with our bakery demand as of recent, and I apologize for that.
We appreciate the wonderful review and recommendation, as most of our customers are via word of mouth, or trip advisor. So thank you for helping us grow.
Please have a safe trip home.
