Stayed her on a church trip to the Biltmore in Asheville (about 29 miles away in Asheville on a good hwy). We were at the Terrace Hotel and it looked like it was the best place to stay at the conference center. Our beds were very comfortable, the room was clean, yes, it had flat screen T.V.), the staff very pleasant and the food in the dining room very good (nothing fancy but quite good and a nice variety...we only ate breakfast and dinner there...both buffet style. Beautiful lake and grounds but from what others said, the other lodging facilities were very basic. Lovely big lobby with rockers on the front porch where we sat overlooking the lake and watched the sun go down over the mountains the first night we were there.
Great place for a group to stay. Beautiful trail (about 2 miles) around the lake.
