Nice, clean, not too crowded. Lots of beach to see and explore. Lovely town it is in, and the aquarium is lovely.

“Really cool and educational war museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

This museum has several really good exhibits specifically a lighted map which displays the different stages of the Battle of Fort Fisher which signaled the beginning of the end if the civil war. Many outside trails with great views.

“Great Historic Site”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2013

Learn more about the end of the civil war and how the fort was such a major part of the conflict. Museum is well done. Wonderful grounds to walk on and how it might of been back in the day.

We went in 2011 to Fort Fisher. It was very informative and exciting to learn it's history. Want to take my children next time I visit there, especially my boys!
