My family has visited this place several times - and every visit things are not any better. I was secretly wishing we just had a bad experience and kept giving them another try BUT now a bad experience seems to be the norm. The food is not that great and the service is somewhat slow. I am not a fan of the barbecue as it takes like ham - chopped ham. It does not have that great southern barbecue flavor... tastes like a slice of sandwich meat. The bar area is cute and if you are just looking for somewhere to have drinks it would be fun.

The food was very good. Service was REMARKABLE. We got there a few minutes before closing and still got the red carpet treatment. Our server was too adorable. I would go back to Knightdale just to eat here again.

Call me a seafood snob. Perhaps it came from working in my teens in seafood restaurants on the NC coast. This meal was barely satisfactory and Way.Too.Expensive! (42 bucks for 2 people having combination 2 seafood dinners), and help way too slow. One would think that it's pretty much a given that hush puppies come before the meal. After asking twice for them, the waitress finally brought them..in the middle of our meal! Portions were on the small side. Of the three of us at the table, the fly apparently enjoyed its meal more than we. He had several friends along with him. Formerly a good place to eat, this place just isn't worth the time or trouble to get here. On the plus side, the tartar sauce was good. The Sunday Buffet is apparently a myth. Will not return. Will not recommend.

Went to the Knightdale Seafood restaurant last night and was a little disappointed. The steam oysters came to the table cool so by the time we got to the second tray (dozen) they were uneatable. The waiter was noce but hardly around when you needed him. The price was OUTRAGEOUS for what they had to offer. We paid nearly 11.00 a head for family style to be charged, another 3.99 a person to add shrimp. We walked away a table of 5 with an almost 100.00 bill. Tip came after ... so I will probably not go again, i will pay that price for a much nicer diner.
