The reputation is a local bar with a speciality burger --- half correct.
As the other reviews state, it's tiny and more a bar than anything else; 6 of us " tourist" dropped in at 7PM -- Wednesday is "Open Mic" night but the only thing musical was a 2 or sometimes 4 (added a washboard & bongos) piece band with a not bad old bar singer who loves Dylan songs. The female local want-a-be joined them late and should have just listened -- dreams of Janice J. in her own mind.
We all ordered burgers, average size some with a very strange metal/parafin flavor -- either old beef or re-warmed someway; Advertised "hand-cut" fries were hand cut by Orida maybe but not fresh. Beer is relatively cheap -- the burgers are slightly over average in price;
The locals seem to enjoy welcoming us tourist -- let us play corn-hole out front with them; They have their resident happy drunk -- Mitch -- harmless and not too pushy -- wants to know where everyone is from and tends to lean on the ladies a little.
There are better burgers for less money but this place is has "atomsphere" --- and free music.
