Description: Our staff at the Outer Banks Brewing Station works hard to give our Outer Banks vacation guests and Outer Banks local guests the best possible service. We are the first wind-powered brewery in the United States. Our innovative menus change with the seasons and include something for everyone. We feature pork and beer specials along with a seafood and meat special every night. Our Outer Banks restaurant features live music in the backyard and almost every night after dinner in the summer months. The backyard, where the wind turbine is, features a beer truck, corn hole, a picnic table-style seating area with a pirate ship playground for the kids! Come relax and kick back with some brews and let the kids play on the playground! Our beer rotation is constantly changing and we brew special beers all year long. We hope to see you here soon!

We enjoyed this restaurant. The playground was helpful for our kids and the homemade sodas (root beer, ginger beer, etc.) were fun to try. Most of the folks in our group enjoyed their food very much. (Only one complaint about the BBQ being too vinegary -- but that might just be preference.) We went on the off-season and it was extremely quiet and quick service.

We went there for drinks and apps and ended up staying and saw a really good band. They brew their own beer which was neat, and I had some mussel appetizer which was really good. All in all, a really cool experience!

If you go here, don't go during peak hours, or you'll wait forever to get a table. Good food. Cool atmosphere. Micro brewery enthusiasts will love it. While the food IS very good, it's not worth waiting an hour on a hot day.

This place was great for bringing our 15 month old toddler. There's a large backyard with picnic tables and a play area for kids. She was able to wander around without being strapped down to a high chair. That night they had a guy playing guitar and singing chill music out back. The weather was perfect, so it was like having a picnic with great food. I ordered the chicken plate. It's a half barbecued chicken with mashed potatoes, green beans and a cornbread muffin. The muffin had a little kick to it which I wasn't expecting. It was good though! My husband ordered the special which was the Red Snapper with a vegetable medley. He loved it. it came so quickly too! We also ordered the beer sampler. This was great because I like porters and brown ales and he likes IPA's so it was perfect for us to share. The only negative was there was no waiter out back that evening so we had to order from the bar and carry our drinks (all the sampler beers) through the back door and to our picnic table. But, someone did bring us our food, we didn't have to go in to get that. Overall we recommend this place for a chill night out.
