“A testy little putt”

Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf
Reviewed September 10, 2012

It had been quite some time since we had played miniature golf, and we were most surprised by the price. I think we paid nearly $10 each to play. We learned later from one of my associates that some of the miniature courses at the OBX let you play for as long as you want at certain times of day or season ... or both. We did not confirm this at PH yet. The course is testy, and fun. Real golfers will appreciate the way the course plays. Real hackers will too, I'd think. Hope to return again before the season ends.

Kids had a good time. The place was clean and had a few good holes and a fun atmosphere. My 7 year old loved the train ride to the top.

There are 2 courses (Gold and Diamond). Either one is fine. The grounds are very clean and appealing.

This is a great putt-putt golf with a train that takes you up to start one of two courses. We have always enjoyed it every time we go.

We went here while waiting for our hotel room to be ready. It was not too crowded on a Saturday afternoon. It was average as far as miniature golf places go. The kids liked the ship. There were little openings in each section where many of our balls slipped through. The hole before the pirate ship has a cool little waterway where you could send the ball and get a hole in one. The price was a little high for what you get ($9 per person) but there is a $1 off coupon in the tourist coupon books.
