We'd been looking forward to trying out Kernersville's newest restaurant and our visit exceeded expectations. We went later on a Friday and the place was still packed. Always a good sign. They have a great wine list and a decent cocktail selection. Draft beer selections were limited, though. We went with one of the nice Chiantis.
For dinner we went with eggplant Parmesan and the baked spaghetti. The eggplant was thinly sliced and perfectly prepared. The meatballs were plentiful and incredibly tender. And there was plenty to satisfy with the salads and garlic rolls and enough to take home.
Of course we saved room for desert. The almond cake was amazing - light, fluffy and soaked in Amaretto. The lemon cake and chocolate cake were tempting, too. And of course the make their own tiramisu.
Next time I'd like to try the build-your-own pasta since they have over a dozen sauce choices. Yum!
