This hotel is brand new. Clean and comfortable rooms. We would stay here again.

We have stayed at a lot of hotels and Hampton Inns. This is one is brand new and well thought out. Our room had a great bed, a place to stretch after the long drive and a very nice bathroom. The gym was as good as I have seen at any hotel, with several treadmills, ellipticals, free weights and two TVs. There were also towels and water in the gym. If you're looking for a great hotel, with the typical Hampton Inn friendliness, check this one out. It is just N. of Charlotte.

Room Tip: I used my points with Hilton HHonors.

As a business traveler, I appreciate the comfortable desk chair, the option to plug my laptop into a wired internet connection for faster downloads, the mini-fridge for my doggie-bags and the cookie at the front desk on the way in in the evenings. LOVE that the property is so close to exit 23, and just a couple of miles from multiple dinner options: at Birkdale Village and Northcross Commons. The staff is super friendly. First hotel I've stayed where the cable TV service is actually digital, so the HDTVs give crisp, beautiful pictures.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very Nice location in order to get where you needed to go. The hotel is new as of late last month (March 2011), so it is very clean and they do keep up with vacuming etc. to make it stay that way. I noted that the elevator after breakfast needed swept and within the hour it was. The standard rooms are just a bit too small and tight. They managed to squeeze a chair up against the far wall right up against the second bed. It was difficult for 2 people to pass one another to get back and forth to the bathroom and closet. Just a little more room would have been nice.
Breakfast changed daily and our favorite was the western omlet. Waffles were terrific and they also had many selections of pastries, and much more. We did enjoy the breakfast each morning.
Coffe, Tea and hot CoCoa are availible 24 hours. They change the various types of Coffee out all day round too so you never have old coffe.
The Workout room was fantastic. 3 or 4 treadmills and 2 eliptical steppers as well as free weights, stretch balls. It overlooked the pool and outdoor area. 2 diffrent TV's as well as pleanty of towels, and there was a water cooler in the corner.

Overall it was a pretty good value for the money in terms of the experience.
One last note for light sleepers. One side of this hotel has major highway and the other has a main street, you can hear the highway traffic all hours while the major street varies from night to night. It did not bother us getting to sleep but if you are a very light sleeper I'd recommend ear plugs.
