We (3 couples) arrived at Norfolk Motel just before sunset and we were met by the wonderful host Kim. We chatted like we had known her for years, but we only got her name from reviews on trip advisor. She was happy to go along and accorded us three wonderful clean rooms. Everything worked well in the rooms.
The motel is set back from the main state highway so there is very little traffic noise. Kim recommended us a restaurant to have dinner at Kiataia, that was not far way (less than 10km.)
We checked out the following day but Kim allowed us to store our luggage in one of the rooms when we drove up to the 90 Mile Beach & Cape Reinga.
It was so rewarding to know wonderful people along the way on our holiday in NZ. Keep in up Kim and all the best.More
